Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap while using Office 2016

I have been fighting with my computer searching for a fix for Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap when I attempt to open attachments in Outlook 2016. If I save the attachment and try to open it the system crashes with the same error. I can use Outlook, Word, Excel and the rest of office without the error. It just shows up when I try to open attachments sent through Outlook 2016. This is very frustrating. I have recently reinstalled a fresh install of Windows 10 and Office 2016. I have attempted every fix on the web with no resolution to the issue. Is there a solution to this issue?
Solution:

This is not an add-in issue, but a Trust Center problem.  I did the following steps and the error went away:

1.  Open Word

2.  Select File>Options>Trust Center>Trust Center Settings

3.  Select Protected View

4.  Remove the Checkmarks in the 3 boxes.

5.  Close Word and reopen.

Repeat these steps with any of the other office products like Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher or Access if you have these.

This seemed to be temporary solution to the issue until Microsoft can fix this.

Can’t connect to WiFi in debian 9

Can’t connect to WiFi in debian 9 and Ubuntu 17.04/17.10 [FIXED]

Recently I installed Debian 9 xfce on my home desktop, I was able to connect to the wi-fi network at the time of installation but after logging into desktop I am not able to connect to any wi-fi network using network manager.

After some searching I have found that this issue is due to the new privacy feature (MAC address randomization) in the new version of NetworkManager causing some wi-fi adaptors to stop working.

Both Debian 9 and Ubuntu 17.04/17.10 are badly affected with this bug, You can read more about this bug in Debian 9 here and Ubuntu 17.04/17.10 here .

Follow below steps to fix this issue in Debian 9 and Ubuntu 17.04/17.10

Edit NetworkManager config file

 sudo nano /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf

Now add below lines to the file

[device]
wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no

Restart NetworkManager service

 sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager 

Now you will be able connect to wi-fi network.

Nota: Todos os artigos que retiro são testados por mim.

Problema: The message could not be sent to the SMTP server. The transport error code was 0x800ccc6f. The server response was 554 5.1.0 Sender denied

Causa: Isto acontece porque um utilizador coloca o endereço de email como junk (Spam) na sua mailbox.

Resolução:

1º Abrir a consola do Exchange e correr o seguinte comando:

      PS] C:>Get-MailboxJunkEmailConfiguration usermailbox

exemplo: 

2º Remover o endereço bloqueado da configuração de Junk Email do utilizador em causa com o seguinte comando:

      [PS] C:>Set-MailboxJunkEmailConfiguration usermailbox -BlockedSendersAndDomains @{remove="bloqueado@gmail.com"}

3º Fazer o update da lista, com o seguinte comando:

  

      [PS] C:>Update-SafeList usermailbox

FTP problem keep getting error 451 (Append/Restart not permitted, try again) on Netgear ReadyNas 104

Problema: FTP a dar o erro 451 no envio de ficheiro grande (Append/Restart not permitted, try again), para uma Netgear ReadyNas 104.

Resolução:

1) Ativar o SSH na Netgear

2) Usar um cliente SSH e efectuar login como root (Nota: senha é a mesma do admin)

3) Efetuar os seguintes comandos:
      3.1) cd /etc/proftpd
      3.2) vi proftpd.conf
      3.3) Adicionar o seguinte no ficheiro de configuração:
                  AllowRetrieveRestart on
                  AllowStoreRestart on

4) Reboot da Netgear.

Sincronismo com servidores NTP Portugueses para windows 2008 / 2008 R2 / 2012 / 2012 R2

Como fazer o sincronismo por um relógio atómico (NTP)?

      1) Abrir uma linha de comandos como Administrador e executar os seguintes comandos:

          1.1) Comando de update com os servidores de NTP portugueses
          w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:"ntp02.oal.ul.pt ntp04.oal.ul.pt 1.pt.pool.ntp.org" /syncfromflags:manual /reliable:yes /update

         1.2) Restart do Serviço de windows do NTP
                net stop w32time
                net start w32time

  1.3) Forçar o sincronismo do relógio
                w32tm /resync

         1.4) Verificar o estado do sincronismo
                 w32tm /query /status

Comandos de troubleshooting:
1) Listagem de todos os Peers dos Servidores de NTP
w32tm /query /peers

2) Listagem de todos os Servidores de NTP
w32tm /query /source

Erro HTTP 500.0 - Internal Server Error - IsapiModule - ASPClassic - 0x800700aa - Após desinstalar o Macfee ou o Kaspersky

Ontem após desinstalar o Kaspersky num servidor de um Cliente SBS 2008, deparei-me com o seguinte erro num site do mesmo.

 
Após verificação verifiquei que é um erro do vbscript

Causa:
  Tanto o kaspersky como o Macfee por vezes quebram o registo do VBScript


Resolução:

1) Abra uma linha de comandos como Administrador e escreva "regsvr32 vbscript.dll"
2) Abra o regedit e verifique se HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{B54F3741-5B07-11cf-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}\InprocServer32 está a apontar para o vbscript.dll

 3) Em máquinas 64 bits Verifique também se HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{B54F3741-5B07-11cf-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}\InprocServer32 está apontar para o vbscript.dll

 4) É possível que a mesma chave exista também em HKCU, se existir apague toda a tree HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{B54F3741-5B07-11cf-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}

Após Instalar o Exchange 2007 SP3 as Application Pools do IIS ficam Stopped (Event 2282, IIS-W3SVC-WP e Event 5002, WAS)

As Application Pools do IIS param após instalação do SP3 do Exchange 2007 no SBS 2008 e quando têm a True 32 bits enabled

Aparece os seguintes erro no Event Viewer:

The current configuration only supports loading images built for a x86 processor architecture. The data field contains the error number. Event 5002, WAS
Application pool 'Classic .NET AppPool' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.


Resolução:

1º) Ir a C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv\config e efetuar uma cópia do ficheiro applicationHost.config
2º) Editar o ficheiro applicationHost.config com o notepad
3º) No notepad procurar a palavra exppw e adicionar nos seguintes sitios o seguinte, preCondition="bitness64"
           
Nota: O ficheiro terá de ficar assim:
   <globalModules>
     <add name="exppw" image="C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\Owa\auth\exppw.dll" preCondition="bitness64" />


<modules>
     <add name="exppw" preCondition="bitness64" />

4º) Grave o ficheiro e faça um IISRESET numa linha de comandos como Administrador.
